Car Care Information
-
You MUST avoid:
-Parking under sappy trees
-Quick rinse-off’s or “dusting off dirt” with a duster (you don’t need to constantly touch your car!)
-Sprinklers
-Parking near active construction sites
-Using bad or old car covers
-Allowing contaminates such as bird droppings, pollen, tree sap, etc. to sit on vehicle and heat up in sun.
-
1. For best results: Use PH Neutral Soaps or Ceramic-Based Soap on a bi-weekly basis to avoid excessive contamination build-up.
2. Avoid washing during high-wind heavily dusty areas, in direct sunlight, or on days that temperature exceeds 90ºF.
3. Do not share wash mitts/sponges/towels with wheels. Keep them separate to prevent grime and gunk damaging paint.
4. Wash top to bottom, occasionally dipping your wash medium in the bucket to wash off contaminates. (Do not shake mitt in bucket, simply dip in an up/down motion, you might stir up dirt at the bottom of the bucket)
5. When washing wheels, use a soft-bristle brush or designated wash mitt with soap and water or with an all-purpose cleaner designed to be used on cars (try to avoid using powerful degreasers, it could stain or damaged your wheel finish)
-
1. Never “air dry” vehicle. Always dry completely via drying towel or blower.
2. Use quality, thick (or thicker) microfiber towels to dry and avoid excessive wiping. Allow the towel to absorb the water.
-
1. Never use excessive force to remove contaminate.
2. Never use powerful products to remove contaminates i.e. polishes, paint thinners, alcohol, degreaser etc.
3. Bird droppings, tree sap, tar, spills etc. should be removes as soon as possible.
4. Use a brand new microfiber towel, moist with water, lightly press and soak contaminate, then slowly wipe off contaminate.

-Wax is not needed on coated vehicles. Use any product that is specified to be used on coatings.
-If vehicle is not coated, it is highly suggested to use quality waxes/sealants/sealant sprays to protect paint.
